Finding out how Low in Priority I am!

At a client site today. They have been signing up to do one-on-one coaching on their projects with me. Sign ups have been slow-- only about 3 a day, So I was excited today when several of them swarmed the sign up sheets and were clammering for time with me.
Then, I realized they had posted a sign up sheet for free massages on Friday!
Sigh.
I guess I will sign up for one, too.

Wedding Weekend

One cousin is head of "guest experiences" including all food and other amenities at the Del Coronado in California. His wedding was a small one or two persons on the edge of the Pacific ocean. They have three gorgeous children (two of them named names I would have used if I'd had more kids).
Another cousin got married this weekend and is an editor on the Gossip Girls and did camera work for the films Chocolat and Spy Kids. He sent me a picture of him and Antonio Banderas. Two hollywood big names including directors attended the beautiful at sunset over a lake in a glass room affair that was followed by fireworks on the lake and gorgeous food, dancing and fun.
It made me think I had not done much with my life. Except...
A speech made by his best friend at the wedding this weekend was actually the highlight... he is known as "Smiley" and his positive attitude is the best thing about him according to the friend.
Huh. That is way better than rubbing elbows with hollywood names or hosting names at a hotel... it is actually pretty cool.
So, I may never rub elbows with personalities who are famous, but I do hope I am famous for my good attitude.
